Who is the mysterious character known as Lou Siffer?He appears in different guises throughout Sunset Cove – sometimes as the marketing director of the popular clothing giant, Rebelz schoolwear, but other times as the weatherman or newsreader on the television, even a lawyer.

Lou Siffer is always in love with money and will do whatever he can to make a profit and acquire dollars.

Does he have a different agenda beyond merely acquiring money? What impact might his activities have on the residents of Sunset Cove – and the world as a whole…?

 

Tom McCrory
Tom is a veteran of acting and has extensive experience in film, television, radio and advertisements. Tom is a senior teacher at Toi Whakaari the NZ Drama School.

KISSINGER

KISSINGER
Kissinger the dog is the cute and adorable pet of the Vermont family. He especially gets on well with Octavia.Kissinger likes nothing more than spending time at the Vermont’s beautiful house.

In an unexpected twist, Kissinger swallows the miniaturised spacecraft containing the aliens Xeron, Vortex and Nebula and becomes the pursued object of Commander Vermont and Mr Dorsey in a race to find the three aliens.

proves you can teach a dog new tricks. Rascal has been trained with great skill and is able to perform a wide range of tasks and behaviours. She loves the agility course and is a real performer.

VORTEX, XERON AND NEBULA

VORTEX, XERON AND NEBULA
A trio of intrepid aliens from the star system Fenorg – Vortex, Xeron and Nebula are on their way to Earth to rescue their alien kinsman, Mr Dorsey, none other than the science teacher of Atlantis High…Vortex, Xeron and Nebula accidentally crash land their spacecraft and miniturise themselves in the process, thereby encountering a variety of adventures from all kinds of wildlife (and other residents of Sunset Cove) on their quest to reunite with Mr Dorsey…

The three aliens find Earth creatures to be very bizarre and have many funny moments as they try to blend in with humans.

 

Des Morgan (Xeron) – Sam Husson (Vortex) -Lyndee Jane Rutherford (Nebula)

Sam has acted in a wide range of roles in television, the stage and advertisements. Sam enjoys writing. Sam has been in other Cloud 9 productions including Twist in the Tale and portrayed the crazy character tophat in the smash hit series, The Tribe.

Lyndee has extensive acting experience in both television and stage, including many comedic roles. She has also had a role in The Tribe.

Des has spent 20 years in television starting with “Close to Home” in 1983 and finishing with “The Strip” in 2001. Des has worked extensively in theatre and television throughout this time.

COACH SHANE

COACH SHANE
The physical education teacher at Atlantis High, Shane keeps everyone healthy and looking good – and offers brutally honest advice on people’s fashion and suntan levels. Muscle-bound and perennially suntanned, Shane is egotistical and vain – will he ever fall in love with anyone but himself? He longs to be a television soap and pop music star. But he has a more profound destiny in store… 

Richard Lambeth
Richard has spent the past three years studying for a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts at Unitec in Auckland, NZ. He has appeared in the South Pacific Pictures show Being Eve and the NZ short film Catch a Bullet. He can also be seen in the latest music video clip from NZ pop sensation ZED.

 

VITA

VITA
The principal’s assistant from Latin America, Vita is a bombshell and would be popular with students (especially guys) if she did not have a habit of calling them “scumbags”. Intelligent and quite eccentric with her hip-swinging walk, Vita barely tolerates the outrageous behaviour of her boss…Vita is infatuated with her fellow staff member, Coach Shane, but finds a rival for Shane’s attentions in the form of her employer, Violet Profusion…

 

Miriama Smith
Miriama’s most recent Cloud 9 appearance was as Moz in the Tribe Series 3. She has also starred in Cloud 9’s production of Swiss Family Robinson alongside Richard Thomas. Her first job in the television industry was as Sally in the 1980’s NZ police drama Shark in the Park. She has also been in Xena, Hercules, Mirror Mirror and Shortland Street.
